When I joined the Department of Immigration, Nepal was transitioning from manual processing to a fully digital system. As part of the core IT team, I led the implementation of “Nepaliport”, a national-level immigration management system.
By integrating API-based blacklist and Interpol scanning, we eliminated redundant manual checks and improved border security accuracy.
